Your Makeup Brushes Need Regular Bath

Not only is it important to clean your brushes after every makeup application but it's only essential to give them a good shower once every now & then. Depending on how many applications you do in a week or a month, it's a good idea to shampoo them thoroughly after about 7-10 applications. I do that without fail only because I care for my clients & I believe in providing clean & hygienic services. It's my sincere advice to all makeup artists to look after the most important tools in your kit like your babies, clean them, nourish them & pamper them - this will not only make your life easy but will also save you a huge amount because then your brushes will last longer & will work better for you.

In a nutshell, cleaning brushes is important for maintaining good sanitary protocol , plus they will age beautifully & more smoothly ;)

I use these soap bars as they are gentle & mild on my brushes!

Circle the brush in the soap bar to create lather

Circle the brush in the soap bar to create lather

Sweep it on your palm to get rid of all the product & then give it a good wash holding it downward

Use one of the brush dryers to hold them upside down for 360 degree air drying OR lay them out on a towel with the bristles pointing out of the slab or the counter so they are able to dry 360 degree
