Spring is here but it doesn't feel like it's here yet with all the rains & clouds surrounding the Bay Area! However, the wedding season is hitting us all with a big boom and keeping us all busy - here is my world of inspiration on the 'FRESH SPRING BRIDAL HAIR & MAKEUP' Look!
The makeup has been kept neutral with a mix of peachy tones - from my all time favorite VISEART Palettes. I focused more on uplifting the natural features with powder highlight and contour from Shade+Light palette by Kat Von D. Defined brows with a subtle highlight on the peeks of the cheekbones and very soft nude lips to tie the look together is what I think makes for a perfect 'Springy' Look this season!
But let me back track a bit on prepping up the base which is the key to keeping your base intact and sit through crazy hours of picture taking, ceremony, dinner and dance. I always take a lot of time in prepping up the base with a good moisturizer, primer and pores/fine line fillers (if needed!). These products are selected based on individual skin type and conditions but my all time favorites are Embryolisse, YSL, Hourglass, Benefit & Mac's Prep+Prime.
The corrector & concealers are from Kryolan which is an absolute must-have in my kit and the foundations are from RCMA, Graftobian & sometimes Mac.
So that's a bit about how I work my way upto a smooth, natural looking base for the makeup to look seamless, flawless and perfect for all my Natural Looking Brides :)
Hair has been tied into a braided updo with a spring coordinated peach floral hair vine wrapped all around. It's a semi clean bridal hairstyle for the brides unsure what type of style they want to go with. It's loose, soft and romantic and for those who like some dangly strands framing their face, it's easy to tailor it to your personal style!
